Day by day itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Athens • Nemea • Ancient Olympia

Departure from Athens and journey into the heart of the Peloponnese, where ancient history, vineyards and timeless landscapes begin to unfold.

Our first stop is Ancient Nemea, one of the most important wine regions of Greece and home to a remarkable archaeological site connected to the ancient Nemean Games. Enjoy a short visit to the archaeological site and museum before continuing into the surrounding countryside.

The experience continues with a visit to a carefully selected vineyard estate, where you will discover the wine traditions of the region through a guided wine tasting in a beautiful natural setting.

In the afternoon, continue through the Peloponnesian countryside towards Ancient Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games, where we arrive for overnight stay.

Day 2

Day 2: Ancient Olympia • Mani • Diros • Gytheio

Begin the day with a visit to Ancient Olympia, one of the most iconic archaeological sites of Greece and birthplace of the Olympic Games. Explore the archaeological site and museum, where the history and spirit of the ancient games come to life among temples, sculptures and timeless landscapes.

Continue south through the changing scenery of the Peloponnese towards the dramatic region of Mani, known for its stone tower villages, rugged coastline and unique atmosphere.

Stop in the charming town of Areopoli for lunch and time to experience the authentic character of Mani before visiting the spectacular Diros Caves, one of Greece’s most impressive natural wonders.

In the evening, continue to the seaside town of Gytheio for overnight stay.

Day 3

Day 3: Gytheio • Mystras • Monemvasia

Today’s journey combines Byzantine heritage with one of the most atmospheric destinations in Greece.

Begin with a visit to Mystras, the remarkable Byzantine city built on the slopes of Mount Taygetos. Wander through its stone pathways, churches and monasteries while discovering the history of a place once considered one of the most important cultural centers of the Byzantine world.

Continue south towards Monemvasia, the legendary medieval town rising from the sea on a massive rock peninsula. Hidden behind fortified walls, Monemvasia offers a unique atmosphere of narrow alleys, stone houses and breathtaking sea views.

Enjoy free time to explore the castle town at your own pace before overnight stay in the area.

Day 4

Day 4: Monemvasia • Leonidio • Nafplio • Tolo

Depart Monemvasia and follow one of the most scenic coastal routes of the Peloponnese, with beautiful sea views and authentic villages along the way.

Arrive in Leonidio, a charming town known for its unique Tsakonian heritage, traditional architecture and rich local gastronomy. Here, enjoy a hands-on cooking experience using fresh local ingredients, including the famous Tsakonian aubergine, one of the region’s most distinctive products.

Continue towards the elegant seaside town of Nafplio before arriving in the nearby coastal area of Tolo for overnight stay at a resort-style seaside hotel.

The evening is free to relax by the sea and enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere.

Day 5

Day 5: Leisure Day in Tolo • Nafplio

A slower day dedicated to relaxation and enjoying the seaside atmosphere of the Argolic Gulf.

Spend the day at your own pace by the sea, swimming, relaxing at the hotel or exploring the charming surroundings. Optional activities such as biking, seaside walks and independent exploration are available for those wishing to discover more of the area.

You may also choose to visit nearby Nafplio, one of Greece’s most elegant seaside towns, known for its picturesque streets, neoclassical architecture and lively waterfront atmosphere.

Day 6

Day 6: Leisure Day in Argolida

Day 6 — Leisure Day in Argolida

Enjoy a second relaxed day by the sea, with time to unwind, swim and experience the atmosphere of the Argolida region, one of the most fertile and historic areas of the Peloponnese.

The day is free for personal exploration and optional activities. Guests may choose to simply relax at the beach, discover nearby villages and local flavors, or explore more of the surrounding area at their own pace.

Optional experiences may include a day cruise to the islands of Hydra and Spetses or a visit to the famous archaeological site of Mycenae, one of the most important centers of ancient Greek civilization.

Please note that the Hydra & Spetses cruise operates only on specific days and availability may vary depending on scheduling and short-notice confirmation.

Day 7

Day 7: Tolo • Epidaurus • Corinth Canal • Athens

After breakfast, depart from Tolo towards the world-famous Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, renowned for its exceptional acoustics and considered one of the masterpieces of ancient Greek architecture.

Continue to the picturesque seaside village of Ancient Epidaurus, where there will be free time to enjoy lunch by the sea, relax and, weather permitting, swim in the clear waters of the Saronic Gulf.

In the afternoon, begin the return journey to Athens with a stop at the impressive Corinth Canal before arrival in the capital.

What is the group size?

This journey is designed as a small-group experience in order to maintain a more personal, flexible and authentic atmosphere throughout the trip. Group size is generally limited to up to 16 participants, while occasionally groups may reach up to 20 travelers in the case of friends or private groups travelling together.
Is this tour suitable for all ages?

Yes. The journey is suitable for travelers with a reasonable level of mobility who enjoy cultural exploration, scenic drives and authentic local experiences.
What type of accommodation is included?

Accommodation includes carefully selected hotels and traditional guesthouses combining comfort, local character and excellent locations throughout the journey.
Is swimming possible during the tour?

Yes. Depending on weather conditions, there are opportunities for swimming during the stay in Tolo and at Ancient Epidaurus on the final day.
Are meals included?

Breakfast is included daily, along with the wine tasting experience in Nemea and the authentic cooking experience with lunch in Leonidio. Additional meals and personal expenses are not included.
How much walking is involved?

The tour includes moderate walking at archaeological sites, traditional towns and villages. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Is the Hydra & Spetses cruise included?

No. The cruise is optional and operates only on selected days depending on local scheduling and availability.
Can I join as a solo traveler?

Absolutely. Solo travelers are welcome to join the group experience.
